01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch round springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well blended.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Whisk in the olive oil, milk, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix gently with a spatula until just combined; do not overmix.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle sliced almonds over the batter if desired.
06 - Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
