# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Ready in 25 minutes flat, which means weeknight dinner without the stress.
  • That glossy, caramelized glaze tastes restaurant-quality but costs half the price.
  • Salmon gets tender and flaky while staying juicy, and the marinade does all the heavy lifting for flavor.
02 -
  • Don't skip brushing the pan or parchment—salmon sticks stubbornly to bare metal and ceramic.
  • If you have time, marinate the fish for 20 to 30 minutes before baking for deeper flavor that really makes the maple and soy settle into the fish.
03 -
  • Room-temperature salmon cooks more evenly than cold fish straight from the fridge—take it out 5 minutes before baking.
  • The skin-on fillets stay juicier and develop a slight crispness that skinless versions won't, though either works beautifully.
