01 - Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, fresh lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, red chili flakes, and minced garlic until well combined.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until the oil shimmers.
04 - Place the salmon fillets presentation side down in the hot skillet. Sear for 3 to 4 minutes until a golden brown crust forms.
05 - Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey chili lime sauce evenly over each piece. Reduce heat to medium and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, continuously spooning the thickening sauce over the salmon, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
06 - Remove the skillet from heat. Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the salmon and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
