01 - Wash the kale and spinach thoroughly under cold water, removing any tough stems from the kale.
02 - Place kale, spinach, pineapple chunks, banana, and almond milk into a high-speed blender container.
03 - If using chia seeds, grated ginger, or lemon juice, add them to the blender now.
04 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, approximately 1-2 minutes. Add cold water gradually if consistency is too thick.
05 - Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with maple syrup if desired. Pour immediately into glasses and serve chilled.
