01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly butter a 9-inch baking dish.
02 - Toss sliced pears with lemon juice, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish.
03 - Combine oats, flour, sliced almonds, brown sugar, and salt in another bowl. Add cold diced butter, rubbing mixture with fingertips until coarse crumbs form.
04 - Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly over the pear filling.
05 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until topping is golden and filling is bubbling.
06 - While baking, whisk miso paste, maple syrup, butter, and water in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth and warmed through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
07 - Drizzle warm miso glaze over hot crumble. Serve immediately, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
