02 - Add the ice cubes to the blender on top of the fruit and liquid mixture.
03 - Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender once or twice if needed.
04 - Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey, maple syrup, or agave as desired. For a thinner consistency, blend in additional coconut water.
05 - Pour the smoothie into two glasses. Garnish with extra shredded coconut or sliced strawberries if desired, and serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like a vacation in a glass, no passport required.
  • Five minutes is all you need, which means extra sleep and still eating well.
02 -
  • Frozen strawberries make a dramatically thicker smoothie than fresh ones, so choose accordingly based on the texture you want.
  • Always put liquids into the blender first so the blades spin freely and everything blends faster.
03 -
  • If using canned coconut milk, shake the can vigorously before opening so the cream and water are fully combined.
  • A pinch of salt enhances the sweetness of the fruit more than extra sugar ever will.
