Velvety blend of beet, caramelized butter, molasses, and berries offers a unique vibrant flavor.

# Ingredient List:

→ Caramelized Brown Butter

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Smoothie Base

02 - 1 medium cooked beet, peeled and cubed
03 - 1 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
04 - 1 small ripe banana
05 - 1 tablespoon unsulphured molasses
06 - 1 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
07 - 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
08 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, optional
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
10 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
11 - Pinch of sea salt

# How to Make It:

01 - Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until it foams, turns golden brown, and emits a nutty aroma, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
02 - In a blender, combine cooked beet, frozen mixed berries, banana, molasses, Greek or plant-based yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup if using, cinnamon, vanilla, and sea salt. Add the cooled brown butter and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
03 - Taste the blend and adjust sweetness as desired. For a thinner texture, add more milk and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
04 - Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses and optionally garnish with fresh berries or a sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
